That would be the wise thing to do...but then again, we are talking the Lions...who to their credit, have new management in place.

 

The new management was still part of the old managment - they just chopped the old top tier off and moved next guys up.
And I can't believe no one has said anything about Culpepper playing at 300 lbs. last season! I know hes a big dude but Jesus Christ, I bet they had OGs smaller than him.

Culpepper came off the street at 300 pounds and did as well/bad as the rest of their QBs. If they're smart, they'll start him, and hopefully he can play his butt off and win them some games. As a fan of the guy I hope he comes out firing and does lead the Lions to the playoffs, but more than likely, that's not going to happen.

Stafford won't be ready to take snaps for a few years IMO.

 

No freaking way Pep weighed in at 290 last year.
