Gotta give the Lions credit. They gave the giants a different look on offense to begin the game. But the giants defense is back to their stingy ways. That fumble by Matt Dodge can't happen. Short field setups can beat the best of teams. I would like to see Gilbride mix it up more. He gets to pass heavy on one drive and then gets too run heavy on the following. Great fight by the Lions especially considering the QB situation... but ti's all about the W... Giants get it.
Osi now has 7 forced fumbles on the year and has another 2 sacks. Very impressed with the Lions offensive line. They are a good young unit. The game was really highlighted by two bad plays the dodge punt fumble and CJ's 83 yard TD. Rolle took a bad angle to the spot. Had he made the right adjustment, Johnson is out of bounds at the 50 but the giants defense played good. Stomped out the running game and did a good job on coverage. I just don't like the bend and don't break defense at the end of the game. I hate the wide open underneath stuff. Giants are freaking QB killers this season. :icon_eek: Sounds like Drew Stafford did a nice job for the Lions. Sean Hill is probably done for the season.

Eli just needs about four more seasons to pass Simms on the all-time list...... Simms has 33,462 passing yards in 14 seasons. Manning has 20,123 yards so far in his seventh season.
