Major Problems With GIF Today?

Have there been some new pop-up ads allowed? I've always been able to be here with pop-ups allowed and the last few days it seems like there have been popups coming through here.

Me neither. Are you sure it's not a spyware? I had one a while agot that would send pop-ups impossible to close (I had to kill the whole Firefox process to get rid of them).

 

Like TJ said maybe its a spyware problem. Scan with Spybot.

 

Last scan we did was two days ago and there were no issues. I blocked popup from here for now and we'll see if there is any further problems. One was a metlife ad....not sure what the one were yesterday.

 

I got 2 popups yesterday which is weird. That never happens.

I'm getting popups from zedco.com.

 

I haven't had one since I blocked pop-ups.....not even a blocked one.

 

I haven't had any problems since the episode last week (I had a Sprint add popping up)........although I still am getting logged out once in a while. :dontknow:

Yeah, I'm having problems also.

 

I think the server is getting hammered pretty good.

I got a few internal server errors, but other than that it's running fine.

 

If I try to go to the main page, it says that the site is experiencing difficulties but If I google and go to like a article on GIF I can get in fine

 

We're calling the server company now guys, hang on....sounds like we have to up the money to get a dedicated server with all our traffic....

 

Looks like this was an issue with resources hammering the server. I am on the phone with the host as we speak.

I am also locking this thread. If there is an issue with the site we should start a new thread for each instance instead of adding to a previous thread with another issue. It's hard for me to figure out what is going on when I have to sift through "me too" replies and posts with not enough information about whatever issue has arisen.
