Southview's defense held visiting Cloverleaf to just 129 yards of total offense, but that was not enough. The Saints made special team mistakes and turned the ball over four times, boosting the Colts to a 31-7 non-conference win. The loss extends the 0-3 Saints losing streak to 24 games, while the win allowed Cloverleaf to return to Medina with a 3-0 mark. The Saints looked poised to upset Cloverleaf in the first quarter, as the defense stopped two Colt drives and the teams matched each other through a scoreless first quarter. Southview stopped the Colts' third drive to start the second quarter, but the gremlins struck on Southview's third possession.
