Holy crap, did anyone see Brett Gardner of the Yankees make a catch and then slam into the wall? Ouch. Carted off.
too busy watching texas sweep the asstros lol @ wills back to the dl... http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090618&content_id=5400414&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb
hehe... that's such a silly excuse, ok I understand one stint on the DL for that, but then go back on it only weeks later? And after 3 straight bad starts. Just seems a bit fishy too me. And it's not like the Tigers are just going to give up on him, when they have all that money invested in him. He came back and made one great start (against my rangers lol) then followed it up with like 4 stinkers and is on the DL. I imagine i'll see the Gardner highlight on espn later, is he okay? was it wicked?
Yeah, teams do shady DL moves like that all of the time. Who knows what the true story is with DL-Train. Gardner hit the wall hard and his head snapped forward really hard. No body bag was brought out, so he'll live.
