Yeah too bad the play ended up a mess. It would have worked.

Wow, what a painful loss for the Eagles here. Their night was summed up on the goal-line tip that became a pick 6. The penalty on Vick was just the salt on the wound. That o-line is putrid, and you can't expect to win with play like that.

Yes sir. The firing of Castillo has made all the difference in the world.:tsk:

They should replace all the linemen with running backs and then just toss the ball around. That'll confuse them!

Painful? Nah. Anyone who expected the Eagles to win this game is a damn fool. Saints defense sucks balls, sure. But as proven again today, our coaches/players simply can not find a way to score once in the red zone and we got away from handing the ball off to our star runner but ONLY after he had already racked up 100 yards in a short time.

that is something I do not understand. McCoy had 100 yards in the first half then they went away from him. He was killing us. Don't get me wrong, I am glad the Eagles saw fit to take pity on us and give us the game but if they continued to run him the outcome may have been different. Our defense gave up over 450 yards but yielded few points. Strange. We better go on a huge roll here and make the playoffs or they will heck up the high draft pick that Godell can take from us for a future infraction.

I was up 9 going into tonight with Vick to play and my opponent having McCoy. I was feeling pessimistic and losing by the start of the third, but boy that 77 yarder made me jump up quick, both literally and figuratively. Needless to say I was really happy the game turned out this way.

I don't think there's anything more on this board that I agree with more than this comment above.

what is rugby? never got the gist of it. seems a violent game. maybe they need RG to clean it up. let it go the way of curling.
