New Dedicated Server Move Bug Report Thread V4.0

TJ just contacted me on twitter and is getting this:

Don't know what to tell him.

 

He's seeing the old site but clearing his cache then logging out and back in again should do it. When he was on the site before was he at work or home and where is he now?? If it's where he wasn't yesterday maybe the migrating hasn't cleared where he is yet.

I'm only able to get to the active site from one of my computers at 2 different geographical locations.

I am behind different name servers on different computers, 2 different name servers from one geographical location.

Only one of them will allow me to see the site and post.

Yesterday I was getting DB errors, now I'm getting the site is moving message.

 

I have contacted the server host to see if they can help us, they fixed the data base errors we were having last night.

Gridironfans.com is still showing up at 206.55.124.176 from the name servers here at work.

From the computers that I can access GIF it's 206.55.124.183

Not sure why it's taking DNS so long to propagate to different locations.

Nameservers can take up to 72 hours for some people. Just the nature of the beast.

 

I've been getting this one off and on this afternoon...

 

I have gotten those also 86.

 

I got this one this morning...database error.

 

Also having problems searching using the team drop down menus...




I get this and the little arrows strung across the top, continue going to the right of the screen and the "search" bogs down my whole computer. As soon as the window is able to be closed, everything returns to normal...

 

We are aware of the issue with the team drop down menu's. There is some serious issues with that modification right now that is affecting the team drop down menu's and the team RSS feeds. Those are all tied into the topic tags modification.

 

Seems to be working alright now...

 

The dropdown menus right now are temporary. They are using the thread prefixes to display the news threads. Hopefully the topic tag modifications will be working correctly soon.

The team RSS feeds are now working: GridironFans.com RSS Feeds

I am working on fixing the topic tags so the news pages display correctly.

 

I don't know if its a new server issue or not but I'm posting via gif mobile and my post don't show up unless I refrsh after every post

 

Nice...I have the individual team ones updating too.

 

Seems like the remaining issues are:

* Fixing the topic tag thread display
* Bringing back reputation
* Fixing upload issue with Photoplog
* Bringing back Casino

Any others? Awards seem to be dead for sure.....we turned them back on for a day after the move to the new server and they killed the server. People were getting database errors left and right again.
