    Roughly 1,000 miles away from a typical dewy-sweet, warm and humid July morning in south Louisiana, the New Orleans Saints officially began their preparations towards another postseason run with their first training camp workout of the summer in the cool conditions at the West Virginia-based Greenbrier Resort. A mix of clouds and sun with accompanying 64 degree temperatures greeted coach Sean Payton and his charges Friday morning, as the Saints got in a productive 3 hour workout with an afternoon walk thru to follow.     hope the cooler weather can help them get in some more reps. Camp is finally here and time to see if we will go far this season. Here's to no injuries.

    day two. Rob said that the defense got their butts kicked today. The offense was on fire. Hope that is a good omen. Brandin Cooks was chatting it up with Brees after every play. He made a great catch apparently. Man, can't wait to see him in a game, preseason or not. Here's to an injury free camp.
