    My point exactly... It made us all the fans we are today. How else would we be so in tuned with the past NFL. NFL films is the next best thing to watching live NFL action. :beer:

    Right on. That's awesome. NFL Films turned the game into a movie. The slow-mos, the music, etc...turned the players into characters and larger than life. Ed was the first one to shoot the games using movie film. He started it by taping Steve's games that way. It blew everyone away and changed the way sports were shot forever.

    The music, the voices, it all built up the NFL as some majestic battle of between legendary gods. I remember how things that happened in the 70's seemed like ancient history when I was watching in the mid 80's. Those old films were amazing.

    Absolutely. It was the only way back when to actually see teams that weren't televised on CBS.

    Yep, NFL Films will always be the crap. They were instrumental in the NFL's success.
