maybe NFL Network will come out with a 'classic' channel where they just play old games so we can still watch real football.

I would definitely go for that. I used to have a link to a site that had every single Chiefs game dating back to the 70's. They were complete games without the commercials. Lost that link when my hard drive had a complete failure and lost everything on it.

Anybody got any links to old games (not just the "classics")?

I think SRW wanted this too, but the thing about old NFL games is that they're copyrighted and I think are legal questions involved. You can find some things on YouTube if you look long and deep enough.

I think the NY Giants and David Wilson will be first in line to vote no in eliminating kickoffs. What do you think?

All goodell is basically is a face to what the owners want.he's a monkey on a leash and the owners are holding it! I Do not care what the league does, there is no way to take violence out of the nfl, ever! these players know the risks, they can live with them, wtf can't the owners? these are grown butt men playing a game, and if they do not want to play there is always a great college education they can fall back on ain't it?

It's a risk reward issue. If the owners believe that the risk of litigation due to injury on kickoffs exceeds the sanctity of the game, then there will be no more kickoffs. Otherwise, owners are smart enough to read what's written about the overwhelming opinion that fans want kickoffs and they will remain.

Meh...the whole league could be sued for a number of things...it's a contact sport...kickoff return isn't any different than any other part of the game.
