parity sucks LOL this is the worst 2 weeks of picks I think ive ever had. Everyone sucks, everyone is really weak in one way or another. Or the collective bargaining agreement and limited practices have made everyone soft and not ready in one form or another....just ugly

Already posted this elsewhere, but it deserves another mention. This should NEVER happen and definitely not more than once on the same team, at the same position. With that I leave you with the butt fumble part 2

    Good Evening, Ladies & Gentlemen

It's been many a year since we held this award due to the fact that we ran out of money buying all those boots but with this new regime's early success, we find reason to resurrect this dubious honor.

Now while there's plenty of gaffes, blunders, & true WTF moments, there's some that rise to the top. Tonight we honor those...

    STs...

Most of us knew we lost a key guy when Toub left & it's obvious what that's done to us. We're as disorganized a bunch as any can recall seeing. Joe DeCamillis had big shoes to fill but this guy's barefoot.
We gave field position away like it was real estate in Detroit. We covered kicks in a straight line like we were kids running after the ice cream truck.
We blocked for Hester like we thought that the NFL outlawing the wedge meant it included blocking.

Yes, folks, they put the 'special' in special teams...

    The D...

Mel Tucker has been pushed from the spotlight by most believing this is the Ghost of LS Past along with it's successes when in reality it's not by any stretch.
The key for years has always been a stout LB corp that could fill the gaps on runs & quick enough to cover the intermediate range for the pbutt.
This allowed to make up for a usually average DL & an average secondary for the most part.
#54's gone & not that he was in his prime when he left but that he took with him the wealth of reading Ds & orchestrating the calls. Briggs is showing his age in his overall game & the New Kids On The LB Block are playing like...well, the New Kids On The LB Block.

Now while we've liked some individual LB plays here & there, this last game showed them so indecisive as to be a dollar short & yardage late. & where was the 'spy' on Bush? Why was the only DL aware of him sitting back waiting to outlet Peppers? Why were most so scared of Megatron when we've handled him pretty damn good in the past?

    Mel? Mel? Yo, Mel...

Even with a mediocre rush, why were we routinely shoved en masse one side to the other? Were we on roller blades & I missed it? Where were the LBers coming up to fill gaps? Why were our safeties playing so deep they needed a shuttle service to get back to the huddle? Why are some so blind to the D woes that are hidden by T/Os?

    Mel? Mel? Anybody seen Mel?

    I didn't think so...

In closing, there's a few special mentions to the runners up who came close to winning tonight's award but those are for other threads.

So please, give a round of applause as these worthy recipients come to the podium to receive their
hard earned awards deposited firmly in their southern regions.

& remember to tip your waitresses...
