Baron Batch, RB, Steelers, seventh-rounder

Batch might have been the most impressive guy I have seen at camp so far in terms of toughness. He's an outstanding pass protector and receiver for the third-down package.

I've liked Baron Batch ever since seeing his block about his childhood. He had it rough coming up, rooting for this kid. Push Mewelde off the roster.

 

Same here. It'd be hard not to pull for this kid. I'm loving the words coming out of camp about this draft class from Heyward to Batch...can't wait to see them go live Friday.

 

I've heard Saunders may become a beast as well.

Ready for the freaking game tonight. Hoping our first team can drive down against vanilla defense.

Also ready to check out some of the new guys. Curtis Brown, John Clay, Anthony Gray, Marcus Gilbert, Mario Harvey, Cameron Heyward, Weslye Saunders.

Also ready to see some of the other players get some more chances. Dixon, Redman (going to destroy it), Antonio Brown, will be keeping an close eye on J Scott, K-Train's boy ZIGGY. Sly...William Gay.

Is Sweed playing? Is Cotchery playing?

 

I heard Cotchery is not. He will not be with the team until practice Sunday...

Who knows with Sweed...doubt it.

 

Yea just seen Cotchery won't be playing, and I'm also ready to see Jonathan Dwyer again.

 

I'm really bummed about Batch's injury. I was looking forward to seeing what he was going to bring to the table. Wanna see some progress from Dwyer as well...
