The Indianapolis Colts running game skidded to an ugly halt last season, ranking 31st in the league in rushing yards per contest and last in yards per carry. And fresh memories of those struggles still makes Colts owner Jim Irsay angry, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star. Our ability to rush the football was completly unacceptable last year, Irsay told the Star. It was more of a miracle that we were able to disguise the problem so much and go so far and do so much with it being such a problem. And injuries along the offensive line only compounded the problem as the team averaged just 3.4 yards per rushing attempt. Weve got to get the offensive line fixed, Irsay said.
