Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy, who played through a sprained right ankle last week, didn't practice Wednesday. Coach Mike McCarthy indicated the rookie would continue rehabilitating Thursday and could practice on Friday, Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. So as Lacy tries to regain strength and stability in the ankle, the only other healthy ball carriers on the roster are James Starks, Kahlil Bell and fullback John Kuhn. Rodgers' return may be of utmost importance for the Packers, but Lacy has accounted for 62% of the team's rushing attempts this season and his 887 yards rushing and club rookie-record seven touchdowns are representative of how much of the offense has gone through him. McCarthy sounded cautiously optimistic about Lacy's return, but if the ankle becomes an issue, Starks and Bell would have to pick up the slack. Despite the Packers wanting to get Starks involved more, the fourth-year pro has 18 carries his last five games. He averaged 2.7 yards per carry against Atlanta. Bell, signed last week off the street, does not have a carry. "Kahlil Bell is doing a hell of a job," McCarthy said. "I'm hopeful he'll be ready to play if needed. I like what I've seen. Sharp, done a good job on special teams, he's picked up the language fairly well. He's done a good job in his short time." Source: The Redzone
Not if the Cowboys play like they did on Monday. That defense is horrible and Romo doesnt do well under pressure.
