Packers FS Nick Collins said his absence from some of the team's voluntary workouts was not because of his contract. Collins said, "The contract was never an issue. Y'all are the ones writing all that stuff about a contract. I haven't said a word about a contract so my thing is I have family issues that I'm taking care of and that's what I'm dealing with." Collns added he was not sure if he would take part in the team's OTAs. "Hopefully. Like I said I have family issues right now. The media just loves to jump all over everything. Why would there be an issue with his contract, didn't he just extend it last season?
