Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Frank Zombo has a broken scapula (shoulder blade) and will miss "a significant amount of time", head coach Mike McCarthy announced on Monday. According to McCarthy, Zombo suffered the injury during a pregame collision with fullback John Kuhn. The 6-foot-3, 269-pound Zombo played in the game, totaling one tackle on defense and two on special teams. Signed by the Packers as undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan in 2010, Zombo took advantage of the many injuries that hit the team last season to start eight of 13 games, in which he totaled 38 tackles, four quarterback sacks, and two forced fumbles. Zombo missed the Packers' first three playoff games before returning for Super Bowl XLV to post five tackles and a quarterback sack.
