It's not too notable, The Bears, Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, and Raiders all did it to us this year. In hindsight it may seem that way though.
It was a boneheaded play call no matter how you look at it. The Steelers D hasn't stopped anyone this year so why take a chance at giving the Pack a short field? As for turning my back on players and coaches, I find that hard to believe...I give every player a fair shot and call them out when their bad. If you call that turning on players than so be it... I'm in the same boat as you, I'm looking for the losses and am sick at people saying they have a shot as well...they're awful this season and don't deserve a shot at any playoff spot.
I don't think Logan will be here next season, I like the kid, but he has average returns and have only broken a few for big returns, no touchdowns on punt returns or kick returns. He's just a little above average return man and the Steelers will look elsewhere for return duties.
It's clear as day that they are trying to throw this game, Of course as I fan I want the good pick, but it still bhothers me to see the team not try either.
