Who has shined brighter then anyone else on MNF? Brett Favre. When a family member passes on, who shines brighter on MNF then anyone else? Brett Favre. I said last week, I still believed in Brett during the game day thread, and i'm going out and saying it again.. Just this week, This game.. means more to Brett Favre, then anything -- I believe it's one step below his family, thats why i brought it up.. Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers, for as long as I've known the game of football.. if you mention Green Bay, you see either Favre's Face, or a Cheese head.. And Vice Versca when you mention Favre, or his face... GBPackers, or a cheesehead. I think Monday night.. once he steps on the field wearing that Purple, and playing against the last team he's never had to face off against.. The Green Bay Packers to Favre will just have passed away, and just like he did when his dad past.. he's going to show up with bells on, and light up the score board. I'm not saying this game is going to get ugly, hell I may have typed all of that for nothing, it's just a feeling I have. All I know is I'm hella excited to see this game, and I can't wait to see it unfold.. I go with the Packers, because Favre came back to football just for this game right here. I just wish it were in Green Bay. Vikes.. 38 -- Packers 27
don't hate the pack. just interested to see the reaction from packer nation if favre beats them on the last play of a game. um, who died this week?
My heart says Packers but my head says Vikings - god **mn Brett Favre for making me pick between the two.
This is gonna be a great game and I can't wait to watch it. This will probably be one of the biggest monday night games in history as far as viewers goes. I'm taking the Vikes
It's funny how excited everybody is, just bc Favre plays the Packers. If Jackson would be the Vikings starting QB, most won't give a rat butt. Well, I guess the attention tramp won at least the pregame show....
True, Favre being a Viking makes this game that much more important to both teams. Kinda like KC and 49ers back in the 90's its a student vs. teacher atmosphere and that my friend makes exciting football!!
From what we heared, it wasn't quite a student/teacher situation at GB, bc Favre didn't feel the need to teach Rodgers anything. For me exciting football is a thrilling game, not all these surrounding BS that comes with this game. Maybe we will see the greatest borefest ever, who knew... Sure, but even with Brady or one of the Mannings under center, the hype wouldn't be like that.
I don't know about Favre not being a teacher or mentor. I think you'd learn alot from Favre just by watching him and being around him
