holy crap. Washington got absolutely crunched. In the game sense, that's a fumble. In the out-of-game sense, hope he knows where/who he is.
Well that's game. Locker throws deep to Nate Washington who catches it, gets hit by two defenders, fumbles.....they return the ball inside the 20....Locker makes the tackle....and Washington and Locker are down. Washington looks like he was knocked out. He landed and both arms were up in the air while he was motionless. Locker got twisted up all crazy on the tackle. Washington walked off but Locker was holding his left shoulder after the tackle. Incomplete pbutt. Matt Hasselbeck time.
How the hell was that not a catch? And don't give me the "football move" comment, he got two feet on the ground with the ball secured before getting his head taken off- all three of which are "football moves." Nice call, replacement refs. Freaking losers.

gave up 17 rushing yards. 17. Won the turnover battle with a +2. Didn't get Brady killed after all. Established a running game, so impressed by The Talented Mr. Ridley. And how about the rookies on defense? Couldn't have asked for a better opener other than the randomly leaky pass defense.

We are down Britt and now more than likely down Washington next week after that thump. The Locker/Hasselbeck deal is a swap for me. Still though.....what an embarrassing show by the Titans defense. They looked like they didn't even try to put up an effort on some plays. The Patriots went through the motions. There were glimpses of hope in Locker, but the Patriots pretty much had their way with Tennessee in this one.
