Despite the Patriots drafting of CB's Terrence Wheatley and Jonathan Wilhite in 2008, rookie Darius Butler is believed to have superior athleticism and may have the inside track on the nickel job when training camp commences. The team also feels they have someone who could fill a dual role as Troy Brown did in years past. The biggest difference between the two is that Butler is a cornerback by trade who dabbles at receiver, not the other way around.
