  1. In a touching service attended by some of the state's top politicians, community leaders and past and present New England Patriots coaches and players, Myra Kraft was remembered Friday morning for her exemplary philanthropic work and love of family. The wife of Patriots owner Robert Kraft died Wednesday after a battle with cancer, she was 68. Sons Jonathan, Joshua and David delivered poignant speeches, noting how Myra lived life through "empathetic eyes," while grandson Harry touched on carrying on her legacy of community service. Seemingly the entire Patriots team, including coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and offensive lineman Logan Mankins, was present. Past Patriots players Drew Bledsoe, Troy Brown, Richard Seymour and Ty Law were also in attendance, as were current NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL Players Association head DeMaurice Smith, and owners from most NFL teams.
