Rob Gronkowski's season is officially over as New England Patriots placed the tight end on injured reserve Thursday to put an end to his season. Gronkowski missed five weeks earlier this season when he initially broke his forearm Nov. 18 against the Indianapolis Colts. He underwent surgery the next day and had a metal plate inserted into his arm. Gronkowski returned for the regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins. He rebroke the arm Sunday against the Houston Texans when attempting to catch a pass on the sidelines. Source: MassLive.com
