I'm going to miss the tough little SOB. Blew the knee on a cut without getting hit. Not the first time I've seen that. We probably lose him for next year being the injury is so late in this season. Edelman will have to step up, which he is capable of doing.
True... to a point. Welker has done the postseason thing before. Edelman has not. Playing at Kent State does not inspire the same kind of nerves that lining up in the NFL playoffs against Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs does. I'm just not excited to hear Phil Simms completely overdo the "Brady misses Wes Welker in this situation" card on Sunday- cause you know he will. Oh, and anyone that calls an injury to Welker "karma for Belichick" can go fornicate with an angry beehive. Welker didn't make anyone videotape anything, he just went out and did his job better than a LOT of dudes.
