The Philadelphia Eagles (9-6) are scheduled to take on the Cowboys (8-7) in Dallas on Sunday Night Football. This one's for all the marbles: the winner is the NFC East champion, and the loser leaves empty handed. With playoff implications on the line, it's the biggest game of the year for these two teams.

If the Eagles beat the Cowboys on Sunday, then they will win the NFC East. It is as simple as that. However, many fans and pundits did not think this game would decide anything more than a top 10 draft pick for Philadelphia. Oh, how it feels to be wrong!

Chip Kelly has taken this team from a joke to a contender in less than a calendar year. The Eagles are set to smash several team and league records in just the first season of the Kelly regime. With the playoffs on the line, Kelly make an even bigger statement on Sunday.

Skepticism has followed and surrounded Kelly, defensive coordinator Billy Davis and quarterback Nick Foles all season. In Week 17, those three men and their team will attempt to prove they deserve praise not pessimism.

    • Foles needs to stay at 9.0 yards per attempt to set the Eagles record for that category. He will end the season with the highest passer rating in franchise history, barring 15 interceptions with no touchdowns against the Cowboys.
