Lance Nix could be an underrated Lefty off the bench. I also like the Valdez trade for Jeremy Horst deal. We trade a declining 33 year old SS who didn't hit .250 last year for a 26 year old lefty reliever on the upswing with some promising numbers. Micheal Martinez to get more playing time this year.
yeah no loss in moving valdez. unless of course the phils get into a long extra inning game and run out of pitchers. on lidge - i think he'll get a big applause when he comes out of the bullpen. the guy was a huge part of of this team's 2nd championship ever.
Yeah. He was a sick burner in the base pads. Not sure what he is now...he was a phillies killer during his time with the Marlins.
the man can still ball. hit .280 with a .329 OBP in 158 games last year. if he works out dont be surprised to see a victorino trade. my buddy and i were talking about victorino/worley for wright if we can sign him to an extention.
i like shane too but i make that trade in a second. its a pipe dream though. good move getting pence signed. team is shaping up, the phils bench is gonna be badbutt.
I don't want to see a Victorino trade anytime soon. I like the Pence signing but was interested in a longer contract.
