cholly needs to stop this constant change with the line-up. christ man, put these guys where they naturally would be in the line-up & stop flip flopping these guys. i'd go with this: cf - victorino ss - jroll rf - pence 1b - mayberry/thome/wigginton 3b - polanco lf - pierre 2b - galvis c - ruiz *1 - i know mayberry is a question mark but moving so many other parts is not going to help *2 - pence needs to be at three *3 - you need victorino & jroll's speed at the top *4 - pence & polanco will help protect mayberry (they have to pitch to someone) not a juggernaut but the best line-up with this group.
For one of my fantasy teams, I certainly hope so. However, his career W-L record against the Mets is 3-10.
haaa. i knew there'd be at one post from LJ over the weekend. avoided the sweep from the mets. nice job by hamels.
I almost have a heart attack anytime one of our hitters draws a walk. Zero discipline at the plate, but most are so set in their ways that they can not change now.
Cliff Lee heading to the DL with a left oblique strain...Kendrick to start in his place and they are calling up Savery. Probably miss 2-3 starts.
no playoffs this year. hopefully it will thin out some of these '08ers who think they are the best fans ever that rip anyone who dares to say anything negative about the team.
i'd love nothing more than to be wrong about the phils this season but i just have a feeling this season is going to be tough and if the season hangs on good "in game" managment they are in trouble. not saying the team will be 10plus games out of it but they could be on the outside looking in.
Saw something from CBS Sports saying the Yankees are interested in Shane Victorino. As of now, the Phillies want too much for him, but that may change as the trade deadline draws nearer. Stay tuned.
