Friend at this game. Almost the entire team was out after the game signing autographs and Harper came out, stood about 20 feet away, yelled something to a player who responded "Just sign the freaking thing" to which Harper responded "whatever."

I think it should of been 5 starts and not just 5 games. he is missing one start. I think thats not harsh enough

 

way to prove my point. the nats are being talked about "now" because of what happened with hamels. i googled nats in 1st place and found ONE story yesterday and it was a mere mention in the story about werth's injury.

everyone to a person has acknowledged this ... even the typical philly fans.

 

plus as i pointed out the nats in particular have been using phillies position players for target practice for the last few years and we lost utley for months as a result. that was no doubt part of what led up to this.

but hey - throwing at a direspectful rookie is wrong, breaking an established elite players hand is nothing.

the act was part of baseball. the post game interview wasnt. hamels got suspended and fined - ($400k plus) - i agree the suspension part does little as he wont even miss a start.

mike rizzo is also paying for his jackass comments.

the only guy in this whole situation that didnt get suspended was zimmerman - anyone wanna take a stab at as to why ?

 

Oh I agree. The only good thing about Cole Hamels is his wife. But I dislike Bryce Harper more than I dislike Hamels.
