Packers president Mark Murphy called it a “priority as an organization†to sign Aaron Rodgers to a contract extension. Speaking from the NFL owners meeting in Arizona, Murphy said the Packers are trying to work out a new contract for the team’s most valuable player, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Murphy indicated cash and cap space would not be issues for the organization.
