Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour was named the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 16, the league announced on Wednesday. Seymour blocked a pair of 49-yard field goal attempts by Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop, including one on the final play of regulation in the Raiders' 16-13 overtime win that kept their playoff hopes alive. Seymour is the third Raiders player to earn the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Week award this season. Wide receiver/kick returner Jacoby Ford won the award in Week 6 and Pro Bowl kicker Sebastian Janikowski was named POW after Weeks 1, 5 and 12. Source: Mac's Football Blog
