Raiders Pushing ‘Hard’ For QB Carson Palmer Trade?

Not really...if they got him in this week, he'd have 2 weeks to be up and running. He'd be more effective than Boller. Much more...

 

Palmer would TEAR up Oakland, end of story. It's Cali, close to home and he'd be comfortable. I bet he can still gun it. He had AWFUL seasons in Cincy with a crapty oline and no weapons. Ocho and Hofiuhwkfdjqwpihdkcddah weren't tearing it up at that point and TO is just a wreck. Offer up Seymour and a 1st for Carson.

 

well, yesterday, carson looked like the same carson we've seen for the last few years. it could be one or more of 3 things:

1) He was just rusty because he's been sitting around for several months
2) He doesn't know the raiders offense yet
3) He's just not any good anymore (i.e. McNabb)

My guess is that it is a combination of the 3. As he shakes the rust off and learns the raiders offense, he will get 'better' as the season goes along .......... I'm just not sure if at any point this season he will be as good as Jason Campbell was performing for them and a 1st and 2nd rounder for that is a steep price.

 

Gotta give it time before passing judgment...
