It has not been a pretty season for the Oakland Raiders, but owner Mark Davis is maintaining patience.

CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora cited league sources in reporting that Davis does not intend to fire first-year coach Dennis Allen or first-year general manager Reggie McKenzie but will make moves to fortify the front office during the offseason.

La Canfora reported that Davis is enamored with Ray Anderson, the NFL's vice president of football operations, and sources believe the longtime league executive might jump at the right opportunity. Anderson has Bay Area ties and significant experience working as an agent and at the team level.

The Raiders (4-10) have stumbled on the field, but McKenzie, especially, is well-respected around the NFL
