Raiders Wanted CBS Announcer Rich Gannon Banned

It was a rhetorical Question sweets I dont give a crap what you think really??? And thats the truth How old was gannon when he got to the raiders he was a career back up. Gruden gave him the system that he could actually manage. He should thank the Raiders for the opportunity, like gruden does and keep his mouth shut. Truth or not.

DP you are trying to make this about being ungrateful but Gannon is like every other announcer adding his opinion. Just because he is being critical of what Al Davis has done so Al tries to have him barred from production meetings. Al is wrong and you can't say he isn't.

 

I thought i made that clear. No im not trying to make it about gannon being ungrateful more like gannon shouldnt criticize what goes on behind the scenes it just adds to the fire. Im sure Al is not pissed about the Russell thing or the Tom Cable comments more about the negative criticism.

And Gannon adding to the fire makes him more watchable, have you watched him otherwise? A bullet to the head is better than that. But it is still no reason for Al to have him barred.

 

Yes I know hes pissed hes been pissed since 2002. gannon assertions of Cable and russell wasnt what set him off its the critiscism of the organization that got his blood boiling.

 

Gannon speaks the truth and the truth hurts sometimes...sorry.

 

maybe gannon actually enjoyed his time as a raider, and was proud of wearing the crest, and is sick of the poor management in the organization...maybe he truly wants the raiders to return to respectable form, and make the playoffs, and a superbowl run...maybe the guy has pride and feels the fans that he bled for deserve better.

 

Honestly, The main issue I have with Gannon as an announcer is he sucks at it... If E. Smith did not already have my vote as world's worst announcer it would go to Gannon.

Its like the only way Gannon can keep his job is to be critical of the ownership... NEWS FLASH... Its the Raiders, That's what we do! It has not changed. Even back in the day... What's changed.. Not a damn thing except that the media and game have grown huge.

 

So the Raiders wanted Rich Gannon banned from the Raiders facility for telling the truth? LOL!
