courtesy of NASCAR.com Due to Tropical Strorm Hanna, NASCAR officials elected Friday evening to postpone the start of the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 until 1 p.m.et Sunday on ESPN. The Nationwide Series race, the Emerson Radio 250, will now be run at 7 p.m. et Sunday on ESPN2, after conclusion of the Cup race and after the grandstands have been cleared.
That sucks, my soon to be mother-in-law and her sister had tickets, but couldn't go on Sunday since they had to work so early on Monday. Wish I was home I would have taken those tics. My first race was under the lights in Richmond and the man himself won JIMMIE JOHNSON!!!
