Rams Confident Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford Is Healthy

Sam Bradford can make the throws needed to be a successful NFL starter, bro.

 

You originally said all the throws. I agree with "the necessary throws".

All the throws would include the aforementioned deep out and dig. Maybe the outside comeback. And the outside fade too.

 

You have proof of the routes he can't throw?

I'll give you credit, though - at least you didn't come out with the whole ''Alex Smith and Sam Bradford are the same person LOL'' argument like the village idiot, whose name slips my mind. I'm still laughing at that comment. I would think a guy with over 7k posts, would have the slightest clue what he's talking about. Or maybe it's the complete opposite?

Back to the point - Sam Bradford has a good arm, and great accuracy. I'll not only argue that he has the arm to make any throw, but he certainly has the accuracy to make them, as well. If you think Sam Bradford will bust, that's fine - only time will tell. But if you're telling me that Sam Bradford doesn't have the arm or accuracy to make the throws, you're full of crap, my friend. He'll make any throw needed.

As for the dig, he actually looked quite impressive on that throw.

From what I saw, he had little to no trouble making any throw that was asked of him.

 

It's different outside. In the wind. Against an NFL cornerback. Don't forget that Big XII defenses aren't too hot, especially in the secondary.

As for the dig, it's an easy throw unopposed. The hard part is fitting it between a window of two linebackers (or safeties) dropping into zone coverage or corners crossing.

From what I've seen of him, he puts too much air under the deep (15+) ball. A good - as in a #1 guy - NFL cornerback will jump a deep out 99 times out of 100. The velocity on that pass has to be enough to beat him to the outside. Only a few QBs in the league - the WORLD - can throw that effectively. Bradford isn't one.

Also, for the record, I don't think he'll bust. I think he will be a good pro if given the right scheme and some tools to work with, and St Louis has the right scheme for him, and has started to collect some potent weapons.

The main problem I have at the moment is you claiming he can make all the throws. He can't. But he won't *need* to.
