Running back Steven Jackson has put his "groin contraption" on the shelf, his groin muscle injury apparently behind him. "It's 100 percent," Jackson said after Thursday's practice at Rams Park. "I feel great. All is well with the groin." Actually, Jackson said he didn't even wear the harness, which prevents him from over striding and thus aggravating the injury, last week in Detroit. During Thursday's practice, Jackson appeared to be running as free and naturally as he has at any time since suffering the injury in the first half of the St. Louis Rams' Sept. 26 victory over Washington. Elsewhere on the injury front, tight ends Michael Hoomanawanui (ankle) and Billy Bajema (knee) continue to get a lot of work in practice. Both appear on target to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
