Rams first round pick Jason Smith practiced at left tackle on Tuesday, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Smith, although drafted to be Orlando Pace's replacement, has been working primarily from the right side this offseason, with Alex Barron getting the nod at left tackle. put the kid at left tackle in practice and games if that's where you want him eventually anyway. if you don't want to rush him, then let him learn behind barron for a while but don't screw up the kid's head by shifting him around to every position on the line or something.
