Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is seeking a new contract. General manager Gene Smith has said the team will not renegotiate his contract. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jones-Drew will skip the Jaguars mandatory minicamp which begins today. Since the minicamp is mandatory, Jones-Drew will be subject to a $60,000 fine if he misses all three days. The team has not indicated they will fine Jones-Drew. Source: The Redzone
