Redskins Trade QB Jason Campbell To The Raiders

The Jason Campbell era in Washington has come to an end. The Redskins have traded discussions with the Oakland Raiders this afternoon. The Redskins could be receiving the Raiders' sixth-rounder -- the 190th overall -- in addition to another late round pick in exchange for Campbell.

Most of the ones I've talked to are pretty damn happy. Instant upgrade. I know some Minnesota fans that are pissed though

Yeah, but us Minnesota fans are pissed about essentially every QB that gets traded somewhere else. That said, Jason Campbell is one of the few I would have liked so far this offseason.

 

I think a lot of us figured this was a logical fit for both teams...

Campbell was a good guy but a horrible QB. Should be a perm backup. Cant throw down field just dink and dunk. Makes bad decisions but can take a hit. Glad his time in DC is over, Gibbs was out of his mind when he selected him.
