I don't mind change. In my opinion, I don't think it's warranted. Having said that, I can't wait until the day the Steelers win in overtime after their opponent kicks a FG...lol.
It's just like the debate mush and I are having about a losing team making the playoffs. I don't care how rarely it happens. It just shouldn't happen. Period.
This rule sucks out loud, especially in the playoffs! The fact of the matter is that both teams share the field for 60 minutes. If a coach is concerned about getting screwed by a coin toss, then maybe he should have made a decision to go for the win some time during regulation! You can almost completely eliminate the element of luck if you take care of your business before those final seconds tick off the clock.
