This all depends on what kind of team you're building. In my opinion, Cutler is what Favre would have been in the worst case scenario. He's a true gunslinger, a real gambler, and as a football fan I respect Cutler's risks over Rivers' five-yard, safe, accurate throws. Cutler has a regressing Matt Forte, a shaky-at-catching Devin Hester, an inconsistent Devin Aromashodu, and not much else, while Rivers had the benefit of growing into the position with Tomlinson in his prime, and now having Vincent Jackson catching balls. If I am building an offense with down-field threats that's goal is to score every time out, Cutler is my man. If I'm going for a West Coast, ball control offense, Rivers is my guy. Can't vote in the poll because the context isn't set.
I said Rivers last year, and will say so again....WHY Jay Cutler is even considered 'a good' QB in this league is beyond me...he's NOT. He hasn't proven a thing. Rivers has.
