Just build the damn thing around the parking lot.

 

That's the problem....with the amount of parking spaces needed. Coupled with the needed for police and public safety to be able to get in and out unhindered it becomes very very difficult to have multiple open routes to and from the site.

Look at the difference between the artists pics and the real pics you posted. See the difference? Only so much space to go around. You need to use ALOT of that space for parking so the multiple looping approaches won't work. ALSO you need at least one route to be open for police, EMS, stadium staff, team staff etc to be able to get to the stadium unhindered. Add to that that most stadiums are in locals where a large majority of fans will be coming from one direction and you should start to see why traffic is always gonna be a snitch
