The veteran offensive right tackle reported to Anderson University this morning with the rest of his teammates, and will remain with the team after agreeing to take a pay cut. Diem accepted a new one-year contract, according to agent Cliff Brady. It replaces what had been the final year of Diem's existing deal that was to have paid him $5.4 million in 2011. Brady declined to elaborate on the value of Diem's new contract. "He's just excited to be a part of the team," Brady said. "He's glad everything worked out." If Diem hadn't accepted a pay cut, the team planned to cut him. Source: IndyStar.com
