With every day that passes, it seems another team gets mentioned as a potential landing spot for Steve Spagnuolo. On Friday, it was reported that the Vikings have interest in Spagnuolo and earlier in the week, there were reports that the Falcons had him high on their list. Today, ESPN's Adam Schefter adds a new team to the mix: the New Orleans Saints. Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is expected to join Jeff Fisher in St. Louis. New Orleans finished 28th in total defense, according to Football Outsiders. The Saints, whose season ended with a 36-32 loss to the 49ers yesterday, allowed 21.2 points per game (13th) during the regular season. Source: Philly.com
Would be a power move for the Saints, i think clear out some of the space eaters and get them rushing the QB with 4. What a great compliment to that offense they'd be.
is he that good of a DC? not really familiar with him. got to be better than Williams. Thought Williams was a good DC but not too sure now.
Screw yes Buck! He's a pretty damn near perfect D Coord for the Saints if you ask me. I hope this actually happens, freaking drop Greg Williams as fast as possible. I am excited, I hope this actually happens.
