New Orleans Saints defensive backs coach Tony Oden is leaving the team to accept the same position with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports. Oden coached the Houston Texans defensive backs before joining the Saints in 2006. Prior to his NFL work, Oden coached at the college level at Boston College, Millersville, Army, East Carolina, and Eastern Michigan while interning with the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers during training camp. Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is expected to take the same position with the St. Louis Rams and there was no guarantee that Oden would be back with the Saints in 2012. Oden's hiring in Jacksonville comes a day after the team added three coaches to the staff, including former NFL safety Marlon McCree, who will be an assistant defensive backs coach.
