The following is the transcript of the coach's post-practice comments:

"Just an update on a couple of procedures yesterday: First, Robert Meachem had a scope yesterday morning. They went in and repaired some meniscus. The procedure went real well. His prognosis is four-to-six weeks. The approach we've taken is to be smart about it. It was something that we felt like we could have managed, but at the same time with the soreness he had we felt it was better to quickly go in and clean it up. Coming away from that scope, the doctors felt real good about it and from a rehabilitation standpoint, the timeframe we're looking at is real conducive to getting him back in camp so he doesn't miss any time at all. Four-to-six weeks with him and it was the meniscus in his right knee.

"Steve Gleason had a scope done yesterday in the PM. His was a little bit more complicated and a little bit longer from a rehab standpoint. There was some cartilage work and a microfracture procedure - a small one, but a microfracture procedure nonetheless. His rehab timeframe is eight weeks, which will put us into the first week of training camp. Those are the two players.
