Saints left tackle Jammal Brown, who missed his second consecutive preseason game after undergoing surgery Aug. 20 to repair a sports hernia, said he is feeling better. It typically takes three to six weeks to recover from sports hernia surgery, but it doesn't appear he'll be back in time for the Sept. 13 season opener against the Detroit Lions. "It feels better," Brown said. "I don't really know how much longer it will be. I have to wait to see the doctor and see what he says from there, then we'll know more. I'll go back to see the doctor in the next couple of weeks."
