The New Orleans Saints will kick off the 2010 season on Sept. 9, a tradition the NFL will continue by giving the Super Bowl champion the host game on Thursday night at the Superdome. The news, discovered by ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, comes at the bottom of the 2010 NFL Calendar posted at NFLLabor.com, the league's new CBA web site. The eight potential opponents are the Falcons, Panthers, Buccaneers, Seahawks, Rams, Browns, Steelers, and Vikings. Source: SportingNews.com
Actually, I would be hoping to NOT be the team that opens the season against them. Do you know how loud the Super Dome will be? It will rival that of when it first re-opened or the NFCCG
I wouldn't want to play them. That place will be even tougher to play being the first game back after the Super Bowl win.
ive heard steeler/saints rumors all week and even before the playoffs were over. they said if the saints won the SB the steelers would be the most likely opponent....im not opposed to it
