Robert Meachem, the Saints' No. 1 pick in 2007, is not among those vying for a roster spot as return specialist. However, if Meachem shows the coaching staff that he also can return kicks, then that might eliminate several players who are viewed primarily as return specialists, most notably Skyler Green and Courtney Roby.
