I respect anyone who regardless of a "deal", fights to get what is owed them regardless of what it says on a contract and teams should be willing to work with the player. There's no way a contract can dictate everything that could happen to change it. Like with Chris Johnson, sure he has a rookie contract but he kicked butt last year and getting paid $500,000 again this year even though he broke records and went over and beyond is ridiculous, the Titans working out a deal to pay him $2.5M instead was the right thing to do. A rookie cap is sorely needed...
half the prospect Stafford was?..... someone forgets pretty quick.... Before Bradford announced he was going back to Oklahoma last season he was rated ahead of Stafford... He would have been the number one pick last year had he went pro.....
Hardly. Bradford needs so much time but being paid what he is asking for he won't get that time because people will be calling for him.
sure he won the heisman and stuff but only a madman would rate him above stafford as a pro prospect even before the injury....it wouldnt have even been a race to the #1 pick, it was going to be stafford all along if it was gonna be a QB....now hes been out of football for a year, has a hecked up shoulder and wants a record breaking contract....its hilarious
