The D did there job yet again. Just to bad kaep only has eyes for one target per play.

the 49ers had the right defensive game plan. their attention was focused on shutting down the saints passing game and i thought their pass defenders and pass rushers did a good job of that.

i would have run the ball more if i were payton to loosen that up a bit but we all know payton doesn't like running the ball.

 

I wonder if Fat Andy would consider a Kaep/Smith swap...

 

Hell of a game. Great defense on both sides. Well, maybe not great in all aspects but a great game nonetheless. I don't see any discussions on the hit on Brees. Personally, I think it was a good hit. But the rules are the rules. I think that game was a classic.
